With their giant overhanging compilation of foam models, the designers aim to draw awareness to the shear number of vacant buildings in The Netherlands and their potential for reuse. |

Oct 2011 The Best Exterior Spatial Award during Dutch Design Awards 2011 went to Bunker 599 by architecture and landscape office Rietveld Landscape. The mass of an old military bunker has been sliced in twain in a dramatic spatial gesture, revealing its seemingly indestructible interior. |
